		The Kirkton Inn 'There are no strangers here only friends who have never met' Located in Darymple just 6 miles east of Ayr, The Kirton Inn offers cosy and comfortable rooms in a beautiful country setting on the banks of the River Doon. The Kirkton Inn is located centrally in Ayrshire which makes it the ideal place to stay. We strive to make sure you relax and enjoy your stay. Many customers return time and again.

		Accommodation Our rooms are cosy and homely with comfortable beds and good showers or bath. Some we call them our studios. The Studios have small kitchen areas should you wish to make a snack or even a lazy breakfast. There is also extra space for golf clubs, fishing gear or kids toys. Ideal for those who want a bit of independence and not be ruled by the clock.

		Eating and Drinking The problem with dinning at the Kirkton Inn is there is so much from which to choose, everything from traditional Scottish dishes like chicken stovies to lobster thermodore. Being in the country on the Banks of the River Doon fresh and local produce are used as much as possible and Head Chef Heather and her team produce dishes to tempt the poorest appetite. To accompany our fine food we have a short but outstanding wine list bringing you excellent wines at excellent value.

		Bar & Whisky Room Relax in one of our three bars, after dinner in the CLACHAN RESTAURANT. Please stay on and enjoy coffee and liqueurs. Warm and comfortable in the winter - light and airy in the summer. An excellent atmosphere among the beams and brasses. THE MALT ROOM - with a selection of 60 or more Malt Whiskies. We can take you round Scotland and your bottom won't leave the seat. The floral LOWLAND, sweet SPEYSIDE, the big flavours of the HIGHLAND and the tang of the sea with the ISLAYS - a cosy room to enjoy a dram and make friends. POACHER'S REST - the traditional village pub - with an excellent choice of ales and beers. A popular place for visitors and locals alike. THE COACH ROOM - a most versatile room used for breakfast in the morning, a small conference or lecture in the afternoon and for up to a party of 30 at night for dinner or a Murder Mystery evenings.
